My ex-career as a muslimah

A few days ago, a report started circulating that Yemeni rebels(or  military) launched a successful missile strike against Saudi Arabia. The story claimed that the missile landed a short distance from Riyadh which is the capital of Saudi Arabia:

For the most part, this story mainly appeared on the conspiracy sites. I found one entry on a mainstream media site but the rest have been silent. There has been speculation if the strike was true or not and at least two different stories have come from Saudi so far about it. The first cover story was that there was an earthquake and a meteor near Riyadh. I guess the light in the sky from the missile was supposed to be the meteor and the the missile striking the ground was supposed to be the earthquake. However there were no entries on earthquake tracking websites for a quake in or near Riyadh when officials claimed it was.

The second story is the one I read in the link above that states that Saudi intercepted the missile which I believe to be false. But at least that forces Saudi to admit that there was indeed a missile aimed for the vicinity of Riyadh and that it was not a “meteor”. (more…)

Not by the hair of my chinny-chin-chin.

The pre-planned howling to Donald Trump’s order on immigration has begun. I checked the weather today and there was slew of shrieking headlines in the news about chaos at various airports. I found it amusing but didn’t bother towolfsheep read any of the crisis articles. As with BLM and women’s marches these are all color revolutions meant to impose regressive policies on an entire population.

There are countries that issue something called investment visas. The U.S. has regularly called for those countries to shut those programs down because terrorists might use those visas as loopholes. So why is it recommended for other countries to protect their borders from these terrorists but the U.S. is expected to have porous borders that let any and everybody in with zero checks and balances?  (more…)

Her share is equal to one-half of her brother’s share. The male takes a share equal to that of two females. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):stoning

“Allaah commands you as regards your children’s (inheritance): to the male, a portion equal to that of two females”

[an-Nisaa’ 4:11]

These are the shares which have been decreed by Allah. So it is not permissible for anyone to change any part of them, or to deprive an heir, or to bring in anyone who is not an heir, or to deprive an heir of any part of his inheritance or to give him more than the share allotted to him by sharee’ah.

My children would receive gifts of cash for various reasons when they were young. It might be for a holiday or for no particular reason at all. Sometimes the gifts would come from their father, family members, and/or friends.  They don’t receive money as much as they used to but it still occurs. I have girls and boys but every single time they were given cash, their father would give my boys more money than he would my girls. Even if the money did not come from him but from someone else he would take it and give the boys more than the girls.

Pus does a body good January 22, 2017

An old hadith crossed my mind a few days ago:

Abu Sa’id al-Khudri (radiya Allahu ‘anh), that the Messenger of Allah (salla Allahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:

“A husband’s right upon his wife is such that if he had an ulcer and she licked it for him, she would not fulfil his right by that.”

Anas (radiya Allahu ‘anh), that the Messenger of Allah (salla Allahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:

“It is not permissible for a human being to prostrate to another human being. Were it permissible for a human being to prostrate to another human being, I would have commanded the woman to prostrate to her husband because of his great right upon her. By the One in Whose hand is my soul, if he (the husband) had, from his feet to the top of his head, an ulcer oozing blood and pus, and she came to lick it off for him, she would not have fulfilled his right.”

I don’t know what made these ahadith cross my mind but I felt the need to put them here because it shows the real face of Islam and not the candy-coated version that Saudi Arabia tries to portray in order to gain approval to spread Islam all over the world.

These were some of the first ahadith I read in the early days as young Muslim women are immediately herded into marriage. They were the also some of the first hadith that made me almost denounce Islam shortly after I had accepted it. I had no intention of licking any man’s pus, I don’t care what any “god” said. Eventually the cover-ups started coming in and claims that these ahadith were metaphorical only in order to show the importance of a woman’s subservience to her husband.

Females were not allowed to vote in any U.S. masjid activities as late as the 90s. They could donate their cash but could not have a say in a matters of the masjid. Muslimahs complained and eventually these rules were overturned. I don’t think it had anything to do with women protesting though. I think the masajid feared losing their non-profit status if they didn’t let women vote and probably some orders came from Saudi to let them vote in order to not make Islam look bad. Best believe if a full blown shariah were ever implemented then those “rights” would be immediately stripped and revoked.

All was not lost during my time spent as a Muslim. Islam works by deception and those years allowed me the chance to see its true nature and not the fake picture that Arabs try to show. What I find odd is that liberals and feminists will rail night and day against Christianity but will fight to death to protect Islam. This is not an argument for Christianity but an observation of how lopsided these people are.

They will stand in “solidarity” to defend a belief system that requires all women to dress as the woman in the picture from puberty until she is too old to be desired by men but somehow find a problem with Trump. Riiggghhhhttttt……

Feminists and liberals are some of the most ass-backwards, regressive, violent loons anyone will have the misfortune of meeting. Undercover Islamic organizations such as CAIR use them as donkeys and mules to quietly usher in Islam little-by-little, step-by-step. These ahadith should be an eye-opener to the real destructive nature of Islam.

My Kim Davis moment, allah the failed astronomer, and other thoughts August 24, 2016

There has been some news lately that covers a burkini ban somewhere in Europe and new battle brewing over the Muslim swimwear line. I read a few headlines in passing and it made me decide to log-in to see if there was an uptick in stats due to people searching for burkini. Sure enough there has been a little bump. Not much though because this blog doesn’t get many views anyway which is fine because I’m not in it for blogging dollars. At any rate, I decided to dust the old blog off a little bit and type out a few thoughts that have been on my mind lately but I didn’t write about.

I was walking home one night and while gazing at the sky it made me think about Muslims and their claim that Muhammad foretold of a barrier between the waters in the sea. I can’t find my Quran and am too lazy to Google the verse but many Muslims are at least faintly familiar with claims that Muhammad revealed a difference between fresh water and sea water. His claim was that there was some sort of barrier between the waters that makes them different. I believe they call this “Miracles of the Quran” and Muslim talib-ul-ilm have given lectures based on these so-called miracles.

Oblivious randomness July 4, 2016

I had the most random thought today. I was about to run some errands and the thought popped into my head about how much easier life is without having to plan a day around prayers. I probably wrote about this before in a past post but I guess with Ramadan wrapping up and my kids visiting their Muslim father during this time might have made it cross my mind. Dear Lord having to plan around prayers was such huge pain in the ass especially when the days were short and the prayers were to top on each other. Coupled with trying to drag small babies into one store and out the other or a doctor’s office or a friend’s house was stressful enough. Then on top of that you have find somewhere to stop and make wudhu then pray. What a hassle that shit was and I am so glad it is no longer concern of mine.

The downside to apostasy March 9, 2015

Filed under: Random — evebitestheapple @ 5:28 pm

I often write about the fringe benefits of apostating from Islam and rarely see any negative effects of apostasy, if that is what you want to call them. Granted there aren’t many but they do exist. I am speaking from the perspective of an American woman who, for the most part, have the freedom to bounce around from religion to religion with little to no adverse effects other than being disowned from family or viewed as being weird and indecisive. It is not like Saudi or other middle eastern countries governed by Islam where you risk being flogged, jailed, or losing your life for bouncing between beliefs. That is most definitely a negative effect of Islam and one that needs to be eradicated.

What I am speaking about are little nuances that have crept up from time to time that resulted from my leaving Islam that I never thought be a problem until now. When you convert, most Muslims feel like they are going to be Muslim until they die. And many people do remain that way although probably out of fear more than true belief in the system of Islam.
